Treatments

“It is an unique treatment without side effects, sustainable and cost-effective. This is partly because there is no packaging involved and we have to give less painkillers. Finally, perhaps most importantly, it significantly increases patient satisfaction.”
- Professor J. Jeekel, Professor of Surgery (retired) Erasmus MC-

“It's pretty crazy that music hasn't been implemented in healthcare yet.
We know that when patients are anxious before surgery, they experience more pain after surgery. If we can reduce that with music, you will also see that the patient will need less medication.”
-Ellaha Kakar, medical researcher Music as Medicine Erasmus MC-
